The True August-Marie

I am August-Marie. I am a smart eighth grader in a new middle school. This middle school has new and better things than my other school. I guess that's a new item to add on the pro list of moving.  My favorite subject is math, I think that I am rather good at it and when I learn a new math formula it feels good to know what im doing. Plus I like giving help to other that need it and I like the feeling of accomplishment when I know I've helped someone understand. I'm a tall kid, being 5'8 at thirteen isn't your average kid. I like being tall though, it makes me feel unique and it's a way to start a conversation when some asks how tall I am. I am Native American and part Mexican. I'm happy with the two because I like to tell fun facts about my culture, especially my native side because not many people know much about the culture and ways of the people. My favorite color is mint green because it is a bright color and I like bright because it reminds me of the positive side of things.
